Wednesday 101: Shopping At Rite Aid – Earning +UP Rewards

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been posting about HOW to shop successfully at Rite Aid.  (Links to those posts are at the bottom of this article.)

Today, I’ll be sharing about earning +UP Reward points at Rite Aid.  This image from their website explains it perfectly:

In the weekly ads, you’ll be able to see which items will earn +UP Rewards.  In the example shown above, the product is on sale for $2.99 and will earn a $1.00 +UP Reward.  This means that you will pay $2.99 out-of-pocket.

The $1.00+UP Reward will be loaded automatically to your Wellness card.  (Or you can opt for the reward to print at the bottom of your receipt.)  You can use that reward to get $1.00 off of a future transaction.  Rewards are not available for use until after 6 a.m. on the following day.

If you have a coupon for the product, you CAN use the coupon, too.  Let’s say you have a $.75 coupon.  Then, you’d pay only $2.24 out-of-pocket and you would still earn the $1.00 +UP Reward.  You can really get some great deals by using coupons on items that earn rewards!

Some +UP Rewards are given after you purchase a set amount.  Example:  Buy $30 of Pampers products, get a $10 +UP Reward.  Unless indicated, you do not have to spend $30 in one transaction.  You could spend $30 over multiple transactions.  When you finally surpass $30, the reward will automatically load to your Wellness card.

If you have any questions about +UP Rewards, just ask.  I’ll try my best to answer them.
